Peter paid tribute to Brian for the dedication and flair he had shown throughout his tenure and for the work he had done on his behalf. He also thanked Pam, Brian’s wife, for the support she had given to him.

On closing his address Peter presented Brian with a bottle of whisky and Pam with flowers.
In response the celebrant remarked that he had not only been very proud to have undertaken the role but had also enjoyed it immensely.
WM John Browne thanked Ken Jackson for his efforts in organising the event and Bill Joughin for acting as Master of Ceremonies.
